It's that time again, time to spring forward and move your clocks ahead by one hour this Sunday at 2 a.m. as Daylight Saving Time goes into effect. That means you'll get another hour of daylight and one less hour of sleep on Sunday morning. Plus, it's time to check the batteries in the smoke and carbon dioxide detectors. And yes, it is correctly said, "Daylight Saving Time".

Now, Spring officially begins with the vernal equinox on March 20th at 12:57 p.m. and let's hope by then, it actually feels like Spring !

The extra hour means that the sun will now set on Sunday at 5:58 p.m. and daylight will linger into the 6 o'clock hour. So, it's time to start planning for the longer, brighter days ahead.
