The 80th Annual Taberg Firemen’s Field Days is Coming Up This Weekend

It's the first "Field Days" of the year in our area, and it's sure to be a wonderful, family-friendly event, going on all weekend long.

Kick off summer a few weeks early!

The Taberg Volunteer Fire Department Field Days start this Friday (May 12th), with the field opening at 6pm. There will be amusement rides by Hawkins Amusement, live music to enjoy (and maybe a little dancing??), and of course all the food and beer anyone could possibly need. And don't forget about the fireworks on Friday night at 10pm. That's something everyone can enjoy.

On Saturday, the field will be open starting at noon. Start your day off with a bite of delicious chicken barbecue. The music and amusement rides continue and there's also the "Great Firemen's Parade" at 6pm. "The Bomb" will take the stage at 7:30p as well.

Then on Sunday as all the fun and activities wrap up, you can still enjoy the chicken barbecue, rides, and music. And of course the beer and other delicious foods as well.

Summer is still over a month away and the "unofficial" start of summer (Memorial Day Weekend) is still a few weeks off, but who says you can't start early? And you can start early during the Taberg Volunteer Fire Department Field Days this weekend on Route 69 in Taberg.
