A Day of Fun at PeterPaul Recreation Park in Rome

You don't have to be a kid to have fun at PeterPaul Recreation Park in Rome;just at kid at heart. Matt decided to head out for some playtime on a beautiful summer day. 

We haven't been in years, so we decided to check out this relic in Rome over the weekend. We were able to track down one of the co-owners for a brief chat.

After Matt talked with Chris, he decided to play Mario Andretti on the go karts.

Next, he ventured into the snack shop and grabbed a candy bar.

Then it was on to the bumper boats!

It's been awhile since Matt swung a baseball bat, but he wanted to see if he still knew how to make contact. He figured the slow and medium pitch cages were designed for the youngsters, so he stepped into the fast pitch zone.

It was a little toasty outside, so it was time to get back into the air conditioning to play a little pinball at the arcade.

Matt's no pinball wizard, but he still had a good time, and the video games brought back fond memories of his childhood. Finally, he and his lady friend decided to wind up the day by having a little picnic.
