Stay home, and if you can't stay home because you absolutely have to go out, stay 6 feet away from others. Why is that so hard?

Look, I get it - you need to got to the store - or stop into the pizza shop - we were there too, so we understand. But why do you have to stand so close to me?

Most of us have taken to doing the awkward grocery store tango, you know, where you try to keep your distance from six people all at the same time. There's always those one or two people who act like it's just a regular day - sauntering through the aisles, with not a care in the world, oblivious to the people pressed up against the cans of tuna trying to give them some space.

Don't be that person.

We got in line at Price Chopper this weekend, keeping a generous distance between us and the customer in front, but the woman behind us just sidled right on up and started placing her items on the conveyor belt. Whoa lady - back off!

This isn't one of those times where you get to make your own rules. You don't get to decide that you "don't need to social distance" because you're healthy. It's not about you, it's about vulnerable people among us.

We're all in this together. If you can't manage to give the rest of us space, STAY HOME.
