April the Giraffe Gives Birth Again

Central New York and the rest of New York State and the nation and the world waited patiently. April the Giraffe was on baby watch recently, and the bundle of joy arrived with the luck of the Irish, on Saturday, March 16.

People worldwide had been watching on a special giraffe-cam and the big moment came early Saturday afternoon, maybe while many of you were having your first (or fifth) green beer. Here's the announcement from the Animal Adventure Park in Harpersville, New York, just outside Binghamton:
