Bonnie McKee has decided to move from ghost writing all of the number one hits you love to making them her own.Her recently released "American Girl" is her first single that fast becoming the summer song of 2013 but it's not her first song.

Bonnie McKee's songs are really well known with hits that she's written or cowritten with some of the biggest artists of the past few years. She penned "Hold it Against Me" by Britney Spears, "California Gurls," "Last Friday Night (TGIF)," "Wide Awake," and "Part of Me" by Katy Perry as well as other hits by Ke$ha and Tiao Cruz.

She's taken to reminding everyone of just what she's accomplished with an epic mash-up of all of her penned songs in one medley.
