Central New York Themed Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father's Day is right around the corner. If you've been anything like me, that probably means you haven't found the dad figure in your life a present yet.

Central New York is full of so many great items and activities that could make a great gift.

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES ANIMALS....

Take him to the Utica Zoo! The zoo is open all day long on Father's Day from 10 am to 4:45 pm and Dad's get in FREE! Regular admission rates apply for everyone else, however.

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES MUSIC...

Take him to a concert at St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater in Syracuse! With shows ranging from Rob Thomas, Heart, KISS, and Bryan Adams - there will definitely be something to fit his musical tastes.

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES BEER....

Take him to Saranac for the brewery tour, or, buy him some local beer. Whether it be Utica Club, any of the Saranac brews, or maybe even some of the Saranac soda - his thirst will be quenched this Father's Day.

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES GOLFING AND GAMBLING....

Take him to Turning Stone Resort Casino! Many people I know go to Turning Stone specifically to do both of these things. There's even some big golf events held there, that's how you know it's a great course. Go on a nice golf adventure followed by some drinks, and a little bit of rollin the dice if you know what I mean!

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES BASEBALL....

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE WHO LOVES HIKING...

Take him hiking! Whether you take him to Black Bear Mountain in the Adirondacks, or to Fox Falls in Ilion, there's plenty of fun hikes that you can take around the Central NY area that he may never have traveled to before. You can find a list of a few different places to go at cnyhiking.com!

FOR THE DAD IN YOUR LIFE THAT LIKES HORSE RACING....

Take him to Vernon Downs! Not only do they have buffets going on at both the Champions and Gold Crown restaurants, but there's a race at 1:05 pm! You can find out more details on their website.
