Those of you who loved seeing Chloe Sevigny onscreen during her stint on American Horror Story are in for some exciting news. The actress is set to return to the series for its upcoming fifth season, American Horror Story: Hotel, three seasons after she first appeared on the show.

The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, announced the news himself via Twitter, writing, "Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on AHS: Hotel." Chloe played a recurring character in season two as Shelley, a nymphomaniac whose story arc doesn't last very long.

The fifth season of American Horror Story is shaping up to be an interesting one, casting-wise. Other cast members that have been announced include Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson. There's also the sad departure of series veteran Jessica Lange, who has been with the show from its first season. Lange talked about her decision to leave the show during a panel at PaleyFest, saying, "Yes, I'm done. We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything."

American Horror Story: Hotel is set to premiere -- as it does every year -- at some point in October.
