One of our local breweries turns one this weekend, and you can be a part of the celebration.

We're pretty lucky here in Central New York, with many different breweries to pick from, like Woodland Farm Brewery in Marcy to Empire Brewery in Syracuse, to Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown. And of course our own Saranac brewery, aka the F.X. Matt Brewery in Utica.

More breweries and micro-breweries have been popping up in the last 15 years, and even more so in the last few years. One of those breweries, is about to hit their one year anniversary, and they're inviting everyone to the party.

Crazy Williez Brewery in Ilion celebrates one year in business this Saturday (October 6th). The brewery is having an all-day celebration with music, food, and of course, delicious, locally made beer. The festivities will go from 1pm to 10pm, so make sure you come ready to party.

Here is the musical line-up, according to Crazy Williez Brewery:

The Swamp Drivers - 1pm
Frank Diskin - 4pm
Joe Sweet - 7pm

As for adult beverages?? Maybe try their latest creation "Red Panda Ale," an Irish red ale. Crazy Williez also has a few beers from other local breweries on tap and even a cider (or two), if you're not that into beer. They carry wine, and have a few mixed drink options, as well. Just ask the "bartender" what's available.

And if you haven't been to Crazy Williez Brewery yet, this weekend is the perfect time to check it out. You'll find the brewery at 546 Silver Street in Ilion. You can also keep updated on their one year anniversary party by following the event on Facebook at: Crazy Williez One-Year Anniversary
