Why not spend Father's Day with the whole family at the Utica Zoo?

There's just something great about soaking up that (almost) summer sunshine, and getting some fresh air. What better way to do that this weekend than taking a trip to the Utica Zoo?

There's always a lot going on at the zoo... From their daily feedings and keeper talks at different animal exhibits (like the camel and sea lion feedings/keeper talks), to their "animal encounters" where you can get an up-close look at some of the animals. And while you're walking around exploring the zoo, you can stop for a delicious treat at the Voss' located right inside of the zoo.

Sure, any day is a great day to head to the zoo, but why not head out for a family outting on Father's Day? Not only is a great way to get some quality time in together, but dads get in free to the zoo on Sunday for Father's Day (June 18th).

The Utica Zoo is open every day from 10am – 4:45pm. Cost is $8 for ages 13 and older, Children (3 – 12) $4.75, and children under 2 get in for free. Plus they offer special discounts for college students, seniors, and military.
