Ilion Days Schedule of Events for 2016

The village of Ilion's 9-day celebration of "Ilion Days" kicks off Saturday, July 16th. Here's what you can expect at the event this year.

Gather up the family and join Ilion for their biggest event of the summer. Ilion Days is a huge village-wide celebration with a parade, fireworks, drinks, raffles, a car show, and TONS more. This year's theme is "Ilion - Home of Remington-Celebrating 200 Years."

The festival kicks off Saturday, July 16th with village-wide garage sales starting at 9am. There will also be the "Princess Pageant" at the Municipal Building starting at 3:30pm.

HIGHLIGHTS for Sunday, July 17th:

1p - 4p: 60s Sock Hop with DJ John Seymour at London Towers (all ages invited). There will be food, games, and of course a lot of fun.

HIGHLIGHTS for Monday, July 18th:

2pm: Puppet Show "Three Billy Goats Buff" at the Knights of Columbus

HIGHLIGHTS for Tuesday, July 19th:

10:30a - 11a: Story Time (for ages 2 and up) at the Ilion Library

HIGHLIGHTS for Wednesday, July 20th:

8:30pm: Movie Night "Open Season 3" at Central Plaza

HIGHLIGHTS for Thursday, July 21st:

7:30pm: Ilion Civic Band at Central Plaza, with Ilion Days Ice Cream Social

HIGHLIGHTS for Friday, July 22nd:

10:30am: Boy Scout Troop 9 Chicken Barbecue
**6:30PM: DOO-DAH PARADE
7:30pm: DJ Timeless Tunes at Whalen Field (vendors will also be on-site)
**9:45PM: FIREWORKS AT WHALEN FIELD

HIGHLIGHTS for Saturday, July 23rd:

7a - 8a: Registration for the 5k Road Race/Walk at the Ilion Library
(Race starts at 8am)
10a - 3:30p: A craft show at Central Plaza
10am: A dog show at Central Plaza
6:30p - 8p: Jeremy the Illusionist at Ilion Mall

HIGHLIGHTS for Sunday, July 24th:

11:30a - 3:30p: A car show at London Towers (with music by DJ Sal Stokes)
12n: The Don Taylor 800M Memorial Run
