Some computer glitches make it difficult to utilize a website and some make it easy to save money on airfare. Recently certain Delta fares on the airline’s own website and other airfare booking websites were showing up incorrectly, and some savvy bargain hunters got incredible deals.

CBS New York Reports:

A round-trip flight between Cincinnati and Minneapolis for February was being sold for just $25.05 and a round-trip between Cincinnati and Salt Lake City for $48.41. The correct price for both of those fares is more than $400.

That is just one example of Delta’s website leading to incredible savings for some fliers. Another traveler paid $93.78 for a one-way ticket from New York City to Los Angeles. Apparently Delta's website was having problems due to increased holiday traffic. And by the way, The Department of Transportation requires that airlines must honor any mistakes on fares they offer.
