Upstate New York's American Idol finalist, Madison VanDenburg, is home and performing at a special concert.

Madison VanDenburg has delivered one strong perfomance after another on American Idol, and her hometown has been cheering her on the whole way. Now, she'll be back - as part of her 'Hometown Hero' segment.

Ahead of the show's finale on Sunday, the Cohoes native, will be at Shaker High School today and will play a special show at the Crossings in Colonie.

"According to CBS 6 Albany, the American Idol crew will make a stop at Shaker High School for a pep rally with the students and fans around 1pm. After the pep rally, there will be a parade in Madison's honor and a special concert for everyone at the Crossings in Colonie around 4:15. The parade will go from Metro Park Road and into the Crossings," writes WGNA.com

The winner of the reality singing competition will be announced on May 19th.
