Might as well throw your brackets away. No March Madness this year.


The organization on Wednesday said it would hold the tournament without spectators, but after numerous conferences cancelled their postseason competitions, this seems like the logical next step for the NCAA.

My take is that this is the correct decision by NCAA. I don't see how they could, in good conscience, expect schools that have already told students to go home to ship student athletes around the country to cities that may be dealing with a serious outbreak.

Now is not the time to think of profits, common decency is more important.

Still, this has to be extremely tough for the student athletes, especially the seniors that decided to return for one last ride at glory. That's got to be a big gut punch.
