Happy National Nacho Day - Here's the Best Places to Celebrate

Today is a very important day...
Yes, it's Election Day and you need to get out and vote, but it's also National Nacho Day, and you should celebrate that as well.

A platform we can ALL get behind - Nachos!

Who doesn't like nachos, right?! I mean, you can dislike guacamole or sour cream, but then you can just make (or order) nachos without those ingredients on it. Don't like beef? Have chicken or shredded pork nachos. Lactose intolerant? Skip the cheese and just add more veggies. Don't like tortilla chips? Make your own nachos with potato chips or french fries instead. No matter what you like and don't like, you can still make and enjoy the perfect plate of nachos.

In honor of National Nacho Day (and hey, if you want to reward yourself for going out and voting today), here are some of the top spots in Central New York to get this delicious dish:

Rio Grande Tex Mex in Washington Mills - Get the "Cadillac Nachos" piled high with nacho cheese, shredded cheese, black beans, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, chicken, and beef.

Moe's Southwest Grill - Don't knock it because it's a chain. With Moe's you can customize your nachos the way you want them. Personally, I love adding rice to my nachos and most places don't serve 'em that way.

Pedro's Kitchen on Commercial Drive - Order the "Nachos Supremos." It comes with ground beef, chicken, refried beans, Mexican melted cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, guacamole and sour cream. Sounds delicious, doesn't it??

El Jarocho Mexican Restaurant in Rome - This place has quite a few nacho options from nachos with beans to nachos with chicken to their "Nachos Supremo" that comes fully-loaded with all the good stuff.

Taco Bell - Seriously, you can't go wrong with the nachos at Taco Bell. They're everything you want it a nacho dish: The chips and cheese, tomatoes, beans, and beef (or chicken or steak if you want). Go for the Nachos Bellgrande if you're celebrating National Nacho Day. Go big or go home, right??
