Life is busy - there's no doubt about it, but you still need to take some time for yourself. Seriously, it'll do more good than you think!

We all know the feeling - heading to work, then running around after. You get home, but forget something and have to head back out... What happened to relaxing for a bit? In our fast-paced life there's always so much we need to take care of, we often forget to take care of ourselves in the process.

You need something for yourself. Really. It could be something as simple as getting your nails done, or soaking in the bathtub (UNDISTURBED) for awhile. Whatever it is, you HAVE to do something for yourself.

It's easy to bypass your needs for the needs of others, but not giving yourself any time can be hurting you more than you think. If you don't give yourself a break - a little 'you' time, it will start affecting your mood. Sure, it starts small, but if you keep going without, you'll notice you just don't feel 'right.' I know when I put off getting my hair done (months and months), I start feeling bad about the way I look. I don't want to go out with friends, or even out in public, because I feel like I don't look like myself. And when you don't look like yourself, you don't feel like yourself.

So don't wait. Even if money is tight, you can still take a long bath and just relax, or get lost in a book. Whatever you need to do for yourself to forget about the stresses of life (even if it is just for a few hours).
