New York Finger Lakes Attraction Featured on National TV
Less than 3 hours from Utica, there's a place dedicated to the artistry of all things glass. And it's being featured on an upcoming TV show.
The special "Craft in America - Neighbors" features a segment about the Corning Museum of Glass and glass craftsman/artist Jaime Guerrero. The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY is a fascinating place dedicated to all things glass. The museum explores the long history of this versatile material, examining it's many uses throughout the ages, from artistic expressions of ancient cultures to scientific uses in contemporary society. The museum makes a great family day trip from Central New York, just under 3 hours from the Utica area depending on which scenic route you choose. The best part, it's free for children 17 and under.
