I was talking to a co-worker who told me that they don't do turkey for Thanksgiving. He asked me, "Eric, can you honestly say that turkey is really your favorite thing to eat, or do you have it for Thanksgiving because that's what tradition dictates?" My co-worker does ribs.

Of course this got me thinking, there are plenty of common alternatives like a ham or roast beef. Maybe a Cornish game hen to stay in the poultry vein.

But I'm curious, do you cook a main course other than turkey for Thanksgiving or is that unfathomable to you? Let us know in the comment section below.
