Nori is the Japanese word for the edible seaweed you can enjoy. And you'll also enjoy this canine Nori, a long-term resident at the Humane Society of Rome.

Tamara, from the HSR brought Nori to us recently for a visit on a Wet Nose Wednesday. Here's Tamara's description of Nori:

"She was seized about 5 months ago by our local animal control. She is about 2 1/2 years old, she loves to give kisses and receive endless cuddles. She loves nylabones and is very treat-motivated. She is a little skeptical of strangers, it took her a bit to really warm up to us when she first came in. She has improved so much and she is very sweet with us, her whole body melts when she sees us. It would take a few meets with her to get her comfortable with any potential adopters.

She seems to like the other shelter animals we have introduced her to but a proper meet and greet is always required. We would not recommend her with young children because of her nervousness. Please help us find a dog-savvy match for Nori so can see her home for the holidays!"

And here's the video capturing Nori's visit to the Lite 98.7 studio:
