King and Lincoln were surrendered to the shelter together. His brother, Lincoln, has found his forever home and now King is lonely and hoping for his turn at happily ever after.

According to Tamara, the shelter manager at the Humane Society of Rome, "King (nicknamed Kingers) came to the shelter 2 months ago as an owner surrender, he is a 2 1/2-years-old handsome border collie mix. He enjoys playing fetch and better yet, playing with the water hose!

King is sweet, fun-loving and enjoy being with people once he is out of the shelter environment. (He has a hard time meeting new people when he is in his kennel.)
King would be a great family pet. He has been around children of all ages and has even lived with cats in his previous home and does enjoy meeting new dog friends. We believe it is Kings turn to find a family of his own like his brother did! He’s truly a love bug with enormous potential."
