Power Outage in East Utica, Portions of Frankfort, Schuyler – Traffic Lights Out, Proctor Football Postponed [UPDATE]
The Utica Police Department is advising caution when driving through parts of the city this evening as street lights are out at many intersections in East Utica due to a power outage.
In an update shared on their Facebook page,
There is a power outage in the East Utica area. Neighborhoods east of Mohawk St. are affected. Please use extreme caution when approaching intersections as most street lights are out.
Facebook users have responded that power is our in parts of the neighboring towns of Frankfort and Schuyler in Herkimer County.
Remember to always treat an intersection as a four-way stop when you apporach one with the stoplights out.

7:20PM Utica Observer Dispatch is reporting that tonight's football game at Proctor High School has been postponed until tomorrow.
7:15PM Approximately 7000 households are without power in East Utica, Frankfort and Schuyler at this hour.
