"So You Think You Can Dance" stars Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance and Kyle Robinson will be taking the stage at The Stanley for an exciting fusion of modern dance Wednesday night (3/1/17).

Their dance company Shaping Sound has been holding "tech rehearsals" at the Utica theater to fine tune their latest performance "Shaping Sound: After The Curtain". It debuts here at The Stanley and then begins its tour across North America.

From The Stanley's Facebook Events Page:

After The Curtain is the second show for the eclectic dance company, following on the heels of the spell-binding Dance Reimagined which toured North America for four years. Conceived and choreographed by TRAVIS WALL, After The Curtain tells the story of a man fighting to find his creative voice after the death of his one true love. Heart-wrenching, breath-taking and ultimately uplifting, this is one dance show that audiences will remember forever. TRAVIS WALL will be dancing in the show throughout the tour schedule, and he will be joined in various cities by his SHAPING SOUND co-founders KYLE ROBINSON and NICK LAZZARINI. (Stanley Facebook)

Travis and the crew consider themselves "visual musicians" and they use this technique to bring uplifting stories to life. You can find out more about the Creative Team at Shaping Sound's website. This is an exciting opportunity for fans of SYTYCD, Dancing With The Stars and many other recent shows. There is a lot of energy going on at The Stanley right now, and the end result will be one action-packed unique and highly visual show Wednesday night.

Shaping Sound: After The Curtain is Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 7:30pm. Tickets range from $23 to $68 and are available by calling The Stanley at (315) 724-4000 or at TheStanley.org.
