Storm Recovery [Update]
After the tremendous storms rolled through Central New York yesterday afternoon and evening, the Utica area is still recovering. Early this morning large sections of Utica were without power and through the efforts of National Grid power is being restored.
Currently, National Grid is reporting hundreds still without power while the Time Warner Cable call-centers are inundated with reports of internet outages. A Time Warner representative stated that the outages will be resolved as soon as National Grid restores power.
Estimates place full recovery of power and networks at sometime later this evening.
