Popular Clothing Store Teams Up with Fast Food Restaurant for a Unique Creation
What does a clothing store and a fast food chain have in common? A lot more now, thanks to two innovative businesses.
You can probably guess what a fast food restaurant is doing with a clothing line. Well, what else would they be doing if not creating clothing designs based on their business? That's exactly what's happening between Forever 21 and Taco Bell.
Forever 21 has just released their line of Taco Bell-inspired clothes. Which, may seem a little out there, but Taco Bell lovers (and those who like to stand out) are sure to be jumping at this collaboration.
According to Taco Bell's website, the clothes became available at Forever 21 locations and online yesterday (October 11). There's a variety of clothing options from Fire Sauce body suits to sweatshirts, hoodies and shirts. They even have designs for the kids. Oh, and iPhone cases.
I took a look at the styles on Forever 21's website, and it's not so "in-your-face," as I had expected. Well, some of it is. But there are quite a few options that are very subtle and cute, to the point I think this is actually a pretty good idea. If you're a huge Taco Bell fan and you want the world to know it, there's hoodies with the Taco Bell logo on them. Other shirts just have sayings on them, or the iconic Taco Bell sauce packets. You can see what's available online by visiting: Forever21.com
If you want to do a little browsing inside the store, unfortunately the closest Forever 21 location is at Destiny USA in Syracuse. Which you can make a day trip out of, and get a bunch of shopping done, but if that's all you're looking for than online ordering is probably your best bet. Could make a good Christmas gift if you have a HUGE Taco Bell lover in your family or circle of friends.
Is this going to start a new trend? Will other fast food chains jump on this idea? Could we see a McDonald's and JCPenney team up? Maybe a Popeye's and Kohl's collaboration?
Either way, it's definitely an interesting idea, and just another way Taco Bell is thinking outside the box.
