hailstorm

It's that time a year again - the time for summer storms, and sometimes some pretty yucky weather.

We may have had a couple of rough winter months complete with cold temperatures and a lot of snow, but we have to be grateful it wasn't anything like what a town in Australia had to go through. The Town of Chinchilla, without warning, was hit with a huge hailstorm on Saturday night that dropped softball-sized hail stones from the sky causing major damage!

Ever been caught outside in a hailstorm? I have and it's amazing how hard that hail comes pelting down.  Extreme weather in Siberia had people on this beach seeking any type of shelter from the hail hitting the beach. Those beach umbrellas look kind of flimsy to me.
