It looks like New Line is looking to keep things in the family for their 'MacGyver' movie -- the studio is moving forward on the project with director James Wan, who helmed the studio's upcoming horror flick 'The Conjuring' and his previous psychological horror 'Insidious.'
I found it odd that several episodes started with MacGyver already on a mission. He often narrated a story from his childhood and how it relating to his current situation. Yet MacGyver was always able to resolve the situation quickly, and then, the main story. This show has been spoofed successfully on SNL.
