The latest Christmas gift craze for 2016 is Hatchimals, the giga-pet like toys that actually hatch out of an egg. The problem? They might as well be egg-stinct, because finding them in Central New York is next to impossible.

Target is closing 13 of their stores. Will it affect any locally?

In a move that is happening nationwide, Target at Sangertown Square Mall in New Hartford will be removing gender-based signs from our local location.

Target has announced that they are discontinuing operations in the Canada market and will close 133 stores. This decision was made based on a huge loss in the billions. The decision was made by company officials because they ultimately could not justify the investment with just the "hope" that the stores would make money.

Every year the Utica Police Department takes part in an awesome event to help children in need in our community. It's called "Shop With A Cop" and it is funded by the Thomas Lindsey foundation. This past weekend is when they did the shopping and it was a great success.

These are simply not good times to be part of the Target family.

Bad news for Target and Target shoppers who used their Target debit or credit card during the busiest shopping days of the year.  A massive credit and debit card breach has compromised up to 40 million Target customers.

Cookie lover's rejoice, Nabisco has just unveiled a new Oreo flavor for the summer, WATERMELON OREOS! They are vanilla Oreo cookies with watermelon-flavored cream in the middle. And get this, the early reviews are positive. Critics say they taste like watermelon ice cream. Note that you can only get them at Target.

Target, Toys R Us and  Walmart are among the stores opening today to get an early  jump on those  Black Friday sales.  Why is it some shoppers in the New England area who have these stores in their neighborhood won't be able to shop there today?
