This ‘Ghost’ Dog Is Not Scary and Needs a Great Home

Ghost is a five year-old Terrier, Pit Bull mix and he's lookimng for a nice home. Here's the story he told to Tamara, from the Humane Society of Rome...

Arriving at the shelter in April 2019 as a transfer, I am eager to find a family to call my very own. I am completely deaf, so I will need an owner who will continue to learn to communicate with me in alternative ways, and to refine my already-known hand signals and possibly be willing to teach me more (even though I already have the basics “down pat”).

I am so smart and enjoy treats of all kinds, we are sure it will make any continued training progress quick and easy! I love to give gentle kisses, get butt scratches and show you my silly side. I even make a great cuddle buddy! I will need to be your only pet in the home and any owner should really know to refrain from letting me interact with other animals in an outdoor setting as I have a hard time understanding other dogs with my special needs.

A fenced-in yard would be a huge plus for me to be able to have my own space to enjoy. I also am an excellent walking partner as long as you know to keep distance between me and other furry friends walking. I am best suited for adults and children 6+ & older home.
