Sometimes our favorite songs are ones that didn’t even make it into the top ten of the top music charts. That’s how I feel about "Swing, Swing" from the American alternative rock group The All-American Rejects. It was released in December 2002 as their first single from their debut album The All-American Rejects, and it only peaked to number 26. Let’s honor it with this week’s Throwback Tuesday.

When released, "Swing, Swing" was featured on the soundtrack of American Wedding. The song is also briefly heard in the background of the Smallville episode "Witness" and also during the pilot for The OC. When the debut album was re-released on Dreamworks Records in early 2003, "Swing Swing" was reissued. It peaked at number 8 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart in March.

Let’s take you back to the early 2000’s with “Swing, Swing”
