It's a portal to the infancy of the World Wide Web. The website for the Dole/Kemp ticket which ran as the Republican ticket for President and Vice President in 1996 against Bill Clinton and Al Gore is still online and active.

Consider it a portal to another time, like the widows of Civil War veterans who lived well into the 2000s. The website is historic in that it was the first use of the internet for a Presidential campaign and is maintained for historical record by 4Presidents.org.

The website was highlighted on the May 28, 2013 edition of the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC. She used the platforms on which Bob Dole and Jack Kemp ran to demonstrate how far the Republican party has shifted in less than 20 years.
