Want To Be President? It Helps To Be Tall
What qualities do people look for in anyone running for President? Honest, integrity, good ideas, solutions to American's problems and oh, one more thing, it helps to be tall too.
That's the word from a new study which found American prefer tall presidents. The study had students draw their idea of a typical citizen along with an ideal national leader. Sixty four percent of students in the study drew the leader as taller than the citizen, which the study's director says both research and literature show there is a preference for physically formidable leaders. John McCain was 5-8 and Barack Obama is 6-1. This time around, Rick Perry is 6-1 and Mitt Romney is 6-2. We'll have to see how this theory holds up in November of 2012.
