Starting next week, Wet Nose Wednesday will be back with Lite 98.7. We introduce you to some dogs looking for a new family. Wet Nose Wednesday, going forward, will alternate weekly with WHISKER WEDNESDAY! Cats need homes too!

This is Zoey, a volumptous one-year-old cat at the Herkimer County Humane Society. According to the staff, Zoey was surrendered by her owner simply because they weren't allowed to have more than one animal. (Bummer.)

Clearly, Zoey is a big cat. You can tell that she definitely loves to eat, whether it's her meals for the day or even treats. Even HCHS says she could use a little bit of TLC and a diet.

She is so sweet, gets along with other animals, and is a very chill cat.

She is up for adoption with HCHS and is looking for her 'furever' home. The adoption fee for Zoey would be $60, excluding fees, and those interested must fill out an application. Adoption fees are considered donations and are not refundable.

If you are interested in adopting Zoey and making her a member of your family, you can find the adoption application here.

The Herkimer County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to providing shelter and safe haven for stray dogs and cats, until their forever homes are found. They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, open Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12-4:30 pm and Saturdays/Sundays from 12-3:30. Visitations may be limited due to COVID-19.
