#WhiskerWednesday: Meet Nelson!

If you're looking for a little guy with a big heart, I want to introduce you to Nelson! He's currently up for adoption with the CPV Rescue and Sancutary in Clinton and is looking for his 'FUR'-ever home!

Nelson was found as a stray in South Utica and has been at the rescue for a little while now. He's about a year and seven months old.

Many notice upon seeing him that he has a little bit of a limp. According to Taylor and Mare with the rescue, he has some nerve damage in his leg, but it's not something that bothers him. He's still just as joyful and playful as can be!

Nelson loves treats, loves kids and loves interacting with people. I had the bag of treats just in my hand and any time it made any kind of noise, he would run right over! He gets along with other cats and dogs. And if you're an older person, he'd be perfect for you as well because he's not overly playful.

Only going on until the end of the month, Nelson's adoption fee is $80. If you're interested in him and want to meet him, you can message the CPV Rescue and Sanctuary on Facebook or you can call 315-381-3605 and leave a message. They are allowing 2 people per 15 minute appointments. The application processing time can take between 7 and 10 days. Please make sure you wear a mask also.

We had a bunch of co-workers come in to visit Nelson after our Facebook live (because most of us are cat people) and honestly we came to a general consensus that Nelson would make a great office cat. Yes, he loves to play, but as Mare said: he's not overly playful or crazy. Just laid back and a happy guy.
