As I look outside at the snow and check the temperature here in CNY (it's about 34 right now) it's hard to believe it's still fall.  At least for one more day.  Winter arrives this weekend.  Yup, the winter solstice of 2013 starts tomorrow, December 21st.

For those who just can't wait for winter, it officially arrives at 12:11pm tomorrow December 21st, the shortest day of the year for those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere.

The start of winter will be a mild one in Central New York.  The temp could hit 50 by Sunday.  Wow!  Good weekend to finish your Christmas shopping without having to wear a huge coat and boots.  But we know the mild temps can't last.   Here's what winter will bring sooner or later.  Are you ready?
