Job interviews are never easy, but you can usually prepare to be peppered with the standard questions. Sometimes however management may throw you a couple of curve balls, and you don’t want to be prepared.

Over at Fortune magazine they found that some interviewers are prone to tossing really crazy curveballs at prospective employees either to keep them on their toes or just mess with their heads.

Here are some of the craziest job interview questions (and the companies that asked them):

  • "If you were shrunk to the size of a pencil and put in a blender, how would you get out?" -- Goldman Sachs
  • "How would you market ping pong balls if ping pong itself became obsolete? List many ways, then pick one and go into detail." -- Microsoft
  • "Explain what has happened in this country during the last 10 years" -- Boston Consulting
  • "You have a bouquet of flowers. All but two are roses, all but two are daisies, and all but two are tulips. How many flowers do you have?" -- Epic Systems
  • "How many bricks are there in Shanghai? Consider only residential buildings." -- Deloitte Consulting

What’s the weirdest interview question you have ever had?
