Here's an American dream story for you. On this, the 10th anniversary of the U.S invading Iraq, 43-year-old Hakmat Yalda who moved from Baghdad to the United States five years ago, to escape the violence there, has won a million dollars!

Hakmat had been working two janitor jobs to support his wife and two sons, who are 10 and 13 years old. He bought a Powerball ticket earlier this month at a 7-11, and became a BIG winner. He didn't win the $100 million jackpot...but he did match six numbers, which earned him some big bucks. He received his check on Tuesday, and he will receive $700,000 after taxes. He says he'll use the money to buy a house and pay for his kids to go to college. Congratulations Hakmat!
