Over 60 inches! That's how much snow some areas around Buffalo are digging out from under. One family is shoveling it from out of their house after the weight of the snow burst through the door.

A state of emergency has been declared in several counties, including Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Franklin, Genesee, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and Wyoming. A travel ban is in effect and New York State Thruway is closed IN BOTH DIRECTIONS between Exit 46, Rochester, and Exit 61, Ripley.
Crews from around the state are heading to Buffalo to help.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone dealing with the near record amounts of snow. And it's STILL snowing!
