Have You Ever Found Your Doppelganger?

Have you ever heard of a doppelganger? A look-alike. Someone who looks exactly like you. Your double. I found mine and he runs a maple sugar house in West Edmeston, New York.

Looking at the cover of the March 2015 issue of Mohawk Valley Living was almost like looking in a mirror. Ben from Ben and Judy's Sugarhouse seems to bear a strong resemblance to me. Do you agree?

I think I'll need to visit Ben and Judy's to see if the resemblance is as strong in person - and to get some of their pancakes and homemade maple syrup, of course.

The Evil Side of Doppelgangers

There is another side of finding one's doppelganger. Some mythological traditions associate a doppelganger with evil (the concept of the evil twin) or death.
