Get Into the Fall Spirit with a Trip to Fly Creek Cider Mill
Fall is here! Just because the weather is getting a little cooler, doesn't mean you need to start getting ready to hibernate inside.
For a lot of people in Central New York, fall marks that little span of time where you wrap up any outdoor projects and start planning for winter. But you don't need to jump to all of that yet! Fall can be a beautiful time of the year, and if you're not normally a "fall person," we want to show you that there are still some good things about this time of the year.
One of those good things happens to be Fly Creek Cider Mill. Sure, you can go during the spring and summer, but it's not the same as going in the fall - It's peak time and the apples are available! If you've never been to Fly Creek, we think this is the year for you. Just see what you can expect in the video below:
Sounds like the perfect way to get into that "fall spirit" doesn't it? (Don't be surprised if you notice a few things different in the video - They have done some renovations).
Whether you stop in just to pick up some apples or some apple wine, or you come out for the day to tour the mill, grab some food at the snack barn, and shop in the marketplace - You're sure to have a good time and feel a little more "festive" for fall.
Fly Creek Cider Mill is open daily from 9am to 6pm. You get updated on all the latest news and highlights on their Facebook Page here.
Oh, and don't forget about the mill-made fudge!
