Help Jimmy Find His ‘Furever’ Home This Holiday Season

Jimmy is that guy you just can't help but love.

He's a terrier-pit bull mix and is about three years old. He's VERY energetic and loving, and has a great ability to make new friends. He's currently residing at the Humane Society of Rome, but he'd love to go home with you and brighten up your holiday season even more. Here's Jimmy's introduction from the HSR's website.

The name is Jimmy. I recently came into the shelter as a stray and from everything the staff has seen is that I am definitely a "people person" kind of dog. I love all attention and romping around in the yards. I have a lovely temperament and am a joy to be around. I am such a mellow pup after you let me get my excitement out, whether it be getting head rubs or butt scratches I love spending quality time with my favorite humans. I am easy to handle and would thrive with a family or any home environment where I can relax and enjoy the good life. I enjoy most of the furry friends here at the shelter but a proper meet and greet is always required. Stop by the shelter and see how irresistible I am! (even with my tongue that is constantly sticking out.)

He came to the HSR as a stray less than a month ago. No one claimed him. He's super awesome, super energetic and jumpy. He's great with other animals and kids - but due to his energy might not be a good fit for super little kids. Older kids can try to tire him out, though. 😊
