If you've never had Jet's Pizza before, you don't know what you're missing. The pizza chain has restaurants all across the country, but sadly none in Central New York. I think that needs to change, though.

When I took my trip back to Michigan to surprise my family, one of the first things on my mind was I needed to stop by Jet's Pizza and get some before I headed back to New York. Luckily, I know the owner of a Jet's Pizza in Port Huron, Michigan, and was able to stop by and grab a pizza. While I was there, I figured I should talk to him about why Jet's needs to open up in Central New York (and of course why Jet's Pizza is so great).

Sure, Jet's Pizza may be a Michigan thing (it was founded in Michigan back in 1978), but that doesn't mean it can't expand out to Central New York. Other pizza chains have already done it. Little Caesar's has five restaurants just in this area, and Pizza Hut has a ton of locations out here (just to name a few).

There is rumor of a Jet's Pizza opening soon in Buffalo, but I think we need something a little closer. A Utica Jet's Pizza would be awesome, but even if it made it to Syracuse I would make the drive out there. That's just how good it is.
