Illusionist Leon Etienne will be at Turning Stone Resort Casino this weekend for his last show in Central New York for a few years. He stopped by Lite 98.7 to talk about the show, and why he won't be around for a while.

Leon Etienne is a Utica native, who became a huge hit after being on Season 8 of America's Got Talent. Since then, he's been on "Penn & Teller: Fool Us," "Jimmy Fallon," "Wizard Wars," and he's even going to be on a new show this summer (he couldn't give us any details on the show, but he did say he would give us a call about it when he can talk about it).

America's Rock Illusionist is coming to the Turning Stone Resort Casino this Saturday. There will be two "Magic Rocks" shows, one at 3pm and one at 7pm (both inside the 'Showroom'). Leon says we'll see a lot of close up magic at this show...

You guys have seen all my big illusions and stuff. This show is going back to my slight-of-hand, my close up magic. We have an incredible video projector, HD cameras, so for the really small stuff everyone will be able to see it like it's right in front of their face. And I'll also have some of the bigger things as well...

It's a show you don't want to miss, seeing as this is Leon Etienne's last shows in Central New York (and his last shows in the continental US), for two years. He will still be performing however; he will have a residency at a theater in Saipan. So if you've been thinking about seeing America's Rock Illusionist, but haven't gotten around to it, now's your chance. And your last chance for a while. Tickets are available by calling 361-SHOW.
