Condiments squirted everywhere and food and drinks ruined or missing. That's what greeted volunteers from the Oriskany Little League as they went to check their concession stand for the annual picnic.

The picnic is the League's way of ending the baseball season. One of the volunteers, Lisa Hays said:

We discovered it last night, as I was trying to get a list together of things we needed for the picnic next week we had food and drink products that we had planned to use for that but we're either drank or thrown all over the concession stand.

Oriskany Little League is hopeful that members of the community will be able to help the league discover who committed this act.

The Oriskany Little League asks that anyone with any information please contact the Oriskany Police Department. They are offering a $200.00 reward for information leading to an arrest. The Liquor Warehouse has also offered an additional $200.00 reward for tips leading to an arrest. That brings the total reward to $400.

It's discouraging to see something like this happen in a close-knit town like Oriskany, and especially to an organization that serves children and is run solely by volunteers, who give up their time to make the community a better place.

If you're interested in making a donation to the picnic or to the Oriskany Little League, you can reach them on their Facebook page, or via the League email at oriskanylittleleague@gmail.com. Monetary donations can also be mailed to PO Box 518 Oriskany, NY, 13424.
