It's back - the T.E.A.L. Walk for Ovarian Cancer is happening in Whitesboro and you can be a part of the event.

Last year on a cold fall day, the first ever T.E.A.L. Walk at the Whitestown Town Park took place. The T.E.A.L. walk focuses on raising money and awareness to a cause that oftentimes gets overlooked - Ovarian cancer. With a great turnout last year, they decided to hold it again for 2016 (and hopefully for many more years to come).

"T.E.A.L." has two meanings - teal, being the color recognized with ovarian cancer, and what "T.E.A.L. actually stands for - which is "Tell Every Amazing Lady." This means to tell other women about the warning signs, precautions, and other information about ovarian cancer and bring awareness to the disease.

This year's walk will be on Saturday, September 10th. Online registration is now open for the event - where you can join a team, create a team, or walk as an individual. You can get all the details and sign up here.
