Sunset Visit to Chapman Park in Bridgeport

We had an opportunity to visit this pristine park overlooking Oneida Lake, and we definitely plan on going back.

You many want to include Chapman Park in your Labor Day Weekend plans, because when we visited, we were really impressed.

We were first and foremost impressed with the way the park was manicured. The park's every dimension was clean and unspoiled.

This park truly has it all: A playground for the kiddos, 2 volleyball courts (one on sand, one on grass,)

basketball courts, softball fields, geocaching, tennis courts,

and a dog park for your furry friends.

Not to mention a pavilion for picnicking,

and a pier for sunset gazing.

And the sunsets...

are amazing.

Chapman Park is located on Rt 31 in Bridgeport and is open from 9am until 8pm daily.
