New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady gave Coach Bill Belichic and his adoring fans the scare of their lives! He attempted a cliff jump while vacationing in Costa Rica!

Tom Brady indulged his inner adrenaline junky after he saw some water and tall rocks while vacationing in Central America! Brady was enjoying some time away from the football field with his wife Gisele Bundchen when he decided to take a harrowing jump off a 40 foot cliff!

He caught some serious air when he jumped, feet-first, off a cliff into water in a video he posted on Saturday. The four-time Super Bowl champion, and three-time MVP, shared the short video of his brave dive on Facebook, captioning it "Never doing that again! #AirBrady."(People.Com)

If you're a Patriots fan you may want to shy away from watching your star QB take a frightening leap off of a very tall rock!!

Last year, I thought I'd give cliff jumping a shot! A few friends and I decided to take a road trip to Rock Island, Tennessee. When we got there, we encountered lush greenery, beautiful scenery, and tall cliffs! It took me a little time before I mustered up enough courage to take the leap, primarily because the landing surface in the water below had the circumference of a kiddie pool! If I missed my target it wouldn't have been pretty!

Needless to say, I survived the jump and would definitely do it again! As a matter of fact, I did!  When I first moved back to New York, I ventured up to Glens Falls and took another leap!

If you'd like to attempt a cliff jump, please make sure what you're doing is legal. Also use common sense and take the proper precautions:

Cliff jumping is a dangerous sport and all precautions must be taken. Many people have died cliff jumping; even from a low height. Others have altered the rest of their lives due to injuries obtained from cliff jumping. Use common sense. Just because your friends dare you to jump is no reason to do so. (Thirstforadrenaline.com)
