Our cat Snickers has been obsessed with going into the garage lately. Is it the nice weather? No, there's a mouse that has been snooping around the garbage can. Thanks to Snickers, no mice make their way into the house. In this video entitled 'My cat saved my son', you'll see the family cat save the day in a much bigger way.

In Bakersfield, California, a boy was simply riding his bike near his home and now is recovering from being attacked by a dog. It snuck up on him as he was riding his tricycle in his own driveway. The dog grabbed his leg and began to maul him before the boy's cat exploded onto the scene and chased the wild dog away. The video was caught on the families security cameras and it's amazing.
The Independent says:

Bakersfield police said the attacking dog, identified as an 8-month-old Labrador-Chow mix, had been surrendered by its owner's family after the Tuesday afternoon attack and was in quarantine and would ultimately be euthanized.

Sadly, I agree. I don't think dogs can be rehabilitated from viciousness. Once it's evident they can attack and do damage, it's over...in my world.
