The Utica area has some of the best local dining to be found anywhere. And there are some well-run and delicious chain restaurants as well, which exist in any and every community across the U.S. and around the world.

But there are definitely some fun ones missing. Which one of the following joints do you think the Mohawk Valley could use right away?

The Capital Grille
American seafood and steaks in a fun atmosphere. One of the locations in Washington, DC has a miniature train running around a track above the dining room and bar.

Seasons 52
The brand delivers a casually sophisticated atmosphere, seasonal menu, and offers fresh ingredients and menu items that are naturally lighter in calories.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen
Family-friendly chain serving American comfort food with a Texas twist.

Yard House
American sports bar chain, with 66 locations across the United States, mostly located west of the Mississippi River.

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse
Not to be confused with BJ's Wholesale Club, they serve award-winning craft beer, Southern California Twist on Chicago-style pizza, and a world-renowned dessert – the Pizookie, which is essentially a cookie served with ice cream and toppings in a deep-dish pizza pan.

Joe's Crab Shack
Casual seafood dining restaurants built to resemble rustic beachfront property.

Steak 'n Shake
Hand-dipped milk shakes and their famous "Steakburger," originally made from a mixture that included T-bone, sirloin, and round steaks.

Which of these tickles your fancy? What famous restaurant chains are missing from this list that you'd like to see in the Utica-Rome area?
