A Travel Advisory Going In Effect Along Route 69
September 17, 2012 6:07 AM Have you seen the sanitation workers along Oriskany Street? Well, get used to it. Oriskany Street between Jason Street and Whitesboro Street, both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed at times durning the day Monday thru Thursday and there will also be extended daytime lane closures on Fridays. Expect complete closures overnights.
The closures are due to sanitary/storm sewer system work and will take place from Monday the 17th thru Monday October 1st. Just a friendly reminder, fines are doubled for speeding through a work zone.
Also along Route 69 there will be traffic signal work at the Whitestown Plaza/Whitesboro Middle School entrance. Be on the lookout for Route 5A traffic signal work in Yorkville at the Main Street intersection and at the Whitesboro Street intersection. You’ll encounter sporadic, short-term lane closures controlled by flaggers.
