Auggie came to the Rome Humane Society back in October. He's had a hard time finding a home because he is a very talkative boy. Auggie would bark a lot in his kennel so potential adopters would decided against taking him home. He got depressed waiting at the shelter, so he went to a foster home. His foster mom is a dog trainer and she has done a wonderful job training him.

Auggie has learned all kinds of polite manners and good behaviors and now he is ready to find his forever family! He is a handsome, 1-2 year old, neutered male, tan and white hound/pit mix. He is bouncy and energetic and he loves to race around and play with other dogs. Auggie also enjoys playing fetch with tennis balls. Come meet Auggie today! You can find out more about the pets available when you Email the Rome Humane Society of Oneida County. Or visit them at 6247 Lamphear Road.
